European Union (EU) Law
European Union (EU) law, or "droit de l'Union europ茅enne" in French, is the body of treaties, regulations, directives, and case law that governs the functioning of the European Union and its member states. EU law is unique in that it has a direct effect on the legal systems of member states, meaning that individuals and businesses can rely on EU law in national courts. It covers a wide range of areas, from the single market to human rights and foreign policy.
