Local Government Law

Local government law, or "droit des collectivités" in French, governs the organization, powers, and functions of local authorities, such as municipalities, departments, and regions. This area of law defines the relationship between local governments and the central government, as well as the rights and responsibilities of local governments in managing public services, urban planning, and local development.
